Jose Mourinho will not appear in front of the press ahead of Real Madrid's Champions League semi-final, second-leg against Barcelona, as he leaves media duties to his assistant Aitor Karanka.
The 'Special One' has decided to let Karanka speak to the press following the controversy that marred last week's 2-0 loss at the Bernabeu in which the coach was sent off, meaning he is not obliged to speak in front of the media.
Madrid confirmed Karanka would be speaking at the press conference on Monday night at around 1930 CET.
Striker Karim Benzema will join Karanka later this evening. Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola will speak prior to the Madrid contingent ahead of tomorrow's game.
