Nemanja Vidic Out Of Manchester United's Trip To Wolfsburg - Report
More defensive injury woe for Red Devils...
The Serb was expected to make the trip but has not yet managed to shake off the 'flu bug that kept him out of Saturday's win over West Ham United.
With every senior centre-back at Old Trafford now sidelined, manager Sir Alex Ferguson has named a clutch of youngsters in his squad for the game in Germany.
They include Oliver Gill, son of chief executive David, Magnus Eikrem, Cameron Stewart, Matte James and Northern Ireland Under-21 international Oliver Norwood.
Michael Owen and Danny Welbeck are the only frontline strikers in the party, as Ferguson has also opted to leave Wayne Rooney and Dimtar Berbatov in England.
Veteran goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar also misses out on the trip with a knee injury.
