Inter Defender Davide Santon: We Are A Big Team But Must Improve Our Mentality
The starlet says his team have all the pieces in place to do well...
"I think Inter are a great team, but we received a heavy blow in Barcelona," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"It is a question of mentality. The team is there and is very strong."
The 18-year-old has struggled to break into the starting line-up this season after his breakout year in 2008-09, with coach Jose Mourinho questioning the player's commitment in public, but he is certain he can once again reach the levels of the previous campaign.
"Against Palermo I entered the pitch feeling a lot of pressure after the second goal [we conceded]," he explained.
"I have to overcome this difficult time. I want to go to the World Cup. Mourinho's words are for my own good, he wants me to improve."
