Chelsea Coach Carlo Ancelotti: We Do Not Fear Porto

Italian sets sights on finishing top of Group D...

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti insists his side will play without fear when they face Porto in the Champions League on Wednesday night.  

The last meeting between the two teams ended in a 1-0 victory for the Blues, and with Chelsea currently cruising in the Premier League, Ancelotti has every right to be confident.

Nevertheless, he still believes the Portuguese champions remain a stern test and will not be underestimating his opponents.  

"Porto have a very good team and coach but while we respect them, we have no fear," said Ancelotti, as quoted by The Press Association.

The former Milan coach highlighted the importance of achieving a good result in Portugal if Chelsea are to finish this phase of the competition on top of Group D.  

"I think tomorrow is important not only for first place, but we will play against a strong team," he added.

"They did well in the last game at Stamford Bridge. We want to put our personality and quality on the pitch tomorrow night."

"We want to arrive at first place in the group and it is a very good test because Porto are a very good team."
