Baggage Strike At Turin Airport Delays Juventus' Champions League Plans - Report

A baggage handling strike has forced coach Ciro Ferrara to consider his plans ahead of the Old Lady's clash with Maccabi Haifa on Tuesday...
Juventus' plans for their Champions League clash with Maccabi Haifa are up in the air, unlike their flight to Tel Aviv, which has been grounded at Turin's Caselle Airport.

Sky Sport Italia reports the players had boarded their flight on schedule for a 10:00 CET take off slot. However, after waiting on the plane for 45 minutes, they were made to disembark due to a baggage handling strike.

As a result, Juve's plans have taken a blow. The team were due to train shortly after arriving in Tel Aviv, but that is now unlikely. Voices claim coach Ciro Ferrara may design a shorter session for when they arrive.

The flight is now expected to leave Turin at 12:00 CET.

Meanwhile, both Amauri and Giorgio Chiellini are expected to start against Haifa on Tuesday. The duo have recovered from a minor bout of flu.
