Barcelona Sporting Club
Arsenal Football Club (England)

Arsenal Kiev (Ukraine)- is based in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev. It was originally founded in 1934 under the name UVO Kharkiv. Its name has been changed many times over the years. In 1996 it came to be known as CSKA Kiev. Five years later when the city’s government bought the club, its name was changed to Arsenal Kiev. The club currently plays in the Ukrainian Premier League.  

Arsenal de Sarandi (Argentina)- is based in the Sarandi neighborhood of the city of Avellaneda, Argentina. The club was founded in 1957 by brothers Julio and Hector Humberto Grondona after being inspired by England’s Arsenal. It currently plays in the Argentine Premier Division (Apertura).  

Liverpool Football Club (England)

Liverpool de Montevideo (Uruguay)- It is based in the Uruguayan city of Montevideo. The club was founded in 1915 and took the name of Liverpool because there were many cultural links. A number of coal ships arrived in Montevideo from the busy English port of Liverpool. They presently play in the Uruguayan Premier Division.  

Everton Football Club (England)

Corporacion Deportiva Everton de Vina del Mar (Chile)- This is a Chilean club based in the city of Vina del Mar. It was founded in 1909 by visiting sailors from Liverpool and was given its name after England’s Everton. They are the defending champions of the Chilean Premier Division (Apertura).  

Newcastle United Football Club (England)

Newcastle United Jets (Australia)- It is an Australian club based in the city of Newcastle which is about 160 km north of Sydney. It was formed as Newcastle United in 2000 but in 2005 was renamed as Newcastle United Jets to project a new image and prevent confusion with England’s Newcastle United. It plays in Australia’s A-League.

Futbol Club Barcelona (Spain)

Barcelona Sporting Club (Ecuador)- is an Ecuadorian club based in Guayaquil. It was founded in in 1925 by Eutimio Perez who was a Catalan immigrant from the Spanish city of Barcelona. The club is actually named after the city and it later adopted the crest of Spain’s Barcelona. Like their Spanish counterparts they are one of the two most successful teams in their country.  

Club de Regatas Vasco da Gama (Brazil)-  is a Brazilian sports club from the city of Rio de Janiero. It was formed in 1898 by Portuguese immigrants and named after the famous Portuguese explorer. It got relegated from the Brazilian first division last season. 

Vasco Sports Club (India)- This is an Indian club based in the city of Goa. It was formed in 1951 by the residents from the port town of Vasco da Gama in Goa and the stationed Portuguese garrison. It was named after the Brazilian club and also adopted the same colors for their kit. They got relegated from India’s I-League and will play in the second division next season.

  
Mohammedan Sporting Club (India)- is the second oldest club of India and is based in the city of Kolkata. It was formed in 1891 by the Muslim community of Kolkata (then known as Calcutta). They got relegated from the I-League last season and so will play in the second division next term.  

Mohammedan Sporting Club (Bangladesh)- is a major football club based in the city of Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was formed in 1933 as a branch of Calcutta’s Mohammedan SC but many people believe it was created through the reorganization of the Muslim Sporting Club formed at Hazaribag, Dhaka in 1927. They play in Bangladesh’s B-League.  

Valencia Club de Futbol (Spain)

Club Valencia (Maldives)- is a club based in the city of Male, Maldives. It was founded in 1979 and is considered to be one of the most successful and famous clubs’ of Maldives.
