Juventus midfielder Hasan Salihamidzic believes this season will be a winning one for the Old Lady.
The former Bayern Munich man has been training hard with the Bianconeri at Pinzolo. There are great expectations in Turin after the club strengthened impressively in the transfer market, signing the likes of Diego, Fabio Cannavaro and Felipe Melo. Salihamidzic feels the squad is now ready for action, eyeing big prizes.
"We are working really well with [coach Ciro] Ferrara and all his staff. We have great players and we did really well in the transfer market," the midfielder told Tuttosport.
"We have strengthened well and we are ready to win."
After making infrequent appearances last term under former boss Claudio Ranieri, Salihamidzic is hoping to enjoy more playing time under Ferrara.
"My role is to help the team and for me it's important to play. I don't know in what position - that is for the coach to decide," added the midfielder.
"I am happy to be here and be a part of Juventus."
