Mirko Vucinic hails Juventus' never-say-die attitude
The forward took to his personal website to praise the character shown by the Scudetto champions on the back of a gruelling week of fixtures
Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic has hailed the spirit of the Serie A leaders after their recent performances.The Bianconeri followed their 4-1 demolition of Roma with a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League, before their 2-1 win over Siena last weekend.
And the 29-year-old took to his personal website to releasea statement in which he spoke in glowing terms of the character shown by his side on the back of a difficult seven days.
He said: "Roma, Shakhtar and Siena. One week, three games, three different approaches. With Roma we produced a perfect performance, playing a high-level match.
"In our Champions League home debut [this season] we never gave up even after the goal we conceded. And on Sunday at Siena we fought until the end for a crucial victory.
"A great team must know how to suffer, fight and win in order to stand tall and show always a great character! Now with the national games I go back to Montenegro. See you on the 20th for the super match - Juventus v Napoli!"
