Claudio Ranieri brings the two experienced players back into the side yet there is no place in the squad for Wesley Sneijder, who has failed to recover from injury in time

Claudio Ranieri has made four changes from the side who lost at home to Napoli 3-0 a fortnight ago, for the visit to Catania.

Diego Milito returns to the starting line-up in place of his injured namesake, Diego Forlan, who could be out for up to two months with a leg injury.

Elsewhere, the suspended Joel Obi is replaced by the experienced Dejan Stankovic who is expected to line-up behind the side's two strikers.

Sully Muntari comes in for Ricardo Alvarez in midfield while Yuto Nagatomo replaces Cristian Chivu at left-back with the Romanian not in the matchday squad.

Inter are currently 17th in the Serie A table and are looking for their second league victory of the season against mid-table Catania.
