Serie A-winning coach Ottavio Bianchi is expecting his former teams Inter and Napoli to put on a show when they lock horns at San Siro on Saturday.
Bianchi, who coached Napoli during their glory years from 1985-89, winning the Italian title, Coppa Italia and Uefa Cup, and Inter for a spell during the 1994-95 campaign, told Goal.com in an exclusive interview that he cannot wait for the upcoming match.
"I think both teams have done very well in the Champions League, overcoming major obstacles," began Bianchi. "Napoli have once again demonstrated that they are a team in form, while Inter, with the arrival of Claudio Ranieri, have found their winning spirit again, so both are able to play the game on Saturday, with the objective of winning it.
"The two teams are currently experiencing positivity, and therefore I expect a good, fiery match, and I recommend all fans and lovers of football to watch it."
The 67-year-old then reflected on previous meetings between the two outfits.
"I remember these matches were always very important, as they were the two most popular during my era," Bianchi continued. "At the time, playing at San Siro was like playing at Camp Nou or Old Trafford now.
"The motivation of the players was always very high, and as a coach I never needed to say anything more to my team because they always arrived at the pitch fully fired up."
Kick-off at San Siro is at 2045 CET, as Inter look to make it three wins on the bounce under Ranieri, while Napoli aim to put an end to their run of two games without a victory in Serie A.
