The Italian giants won their first Scudetto since 2004 last season under the tutelage of coach Massimiliano Allegri and have reinforced their squad during the summer transfer window with the acquisition of Philippe Mexes, Taye Taiwo, Stephan El Shaarawy and Alberto Aquilani among others.
Ibrahimovic played an integral role in Milan's title-winning 2010-11 campaign as he scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists in 29 league appearances and is looking forward to ensuring yet another domestic triumph for his team this term.
"We're still favourites, we've strengthened in this transfer window," the 29-year-old told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "We're better than we were last season, I'm happy with all the signings we've made."
Milan begin their new season with a home clash with Lazio on Friday evening.
