The Sweden international has resumed regular training action again after spending the past two weeks on the sidelines due to injuryAC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been declared match fit for the Serie A opener away against Cagliari on August 27 after having recovered from an ankle problem.
The Sweden international picked up the knock in his side's friendly draw against Malmo about ten days ago and had since been working on his recovery process.
Milan initially feared that the former Barcelona forward would not be ready in time for the first league match of the 2011-12 campaign, but they have now announced on their official website that Ibrahimovic has resumed regular squad training again.
Ibrahimovic played a key role on his side's first Serie A title since 2004 last term as he netted 14 league goals to help Milan to the Scudetto.
However, it's not yet sure whether matchday one of the new Serie A season will go ahead as planned following the players' threat to go on strike as long as the collective bargaining agreement has not been signed.
