Italian midfielder expects to win the Serie A title, and suggests it will be undeserved if anyone else wins it, but reminds the team they haven't clinched it yetMilan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso has put one hand on the Scudetto, and insists his side deserve to win it.
The 33-year-old Italian has claimed their dominance of Serie A across the season will be rightly rewarded at the end of it.
The 2004 champions lead the standings by three points from Napoli and are five ahead of Inter - enough proof for Gattuso that they deserve the silverware.
"Milan merit the Scudetto," he told Verissimo.
"We deserve it because we have been ahead for 22 or 23 weeks and we have beaten Napoli and Inter, who are second and third in the league, twice each.
"We hope to win it, there are six games to go."
The Rossoneri take on struggling Sampdoria on Saturday night at San Siro.
