thumbnail Hello,

Marchisio is not taking a win against Palermo for granted, despite the Sicilians poor start to the season.

Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio has warned his team-mates that beating Palermo will be no easy task on Thursday evening.

The Rosanero have just one point from their first three Serie A matches, suffering recent losses to Brescia and Inter, but the 24-year-old refuses to underestimate his opponents at the Stadio Olimpico.

"We must work hard to continue [good results] this Thursday," he said, according to tuttojuve.com.

"We are facing a very difficult match."

The Turin giants dismissed Udinese 4-0 on the weekend for their first win of the new league campaign. They currently have four points in the standings, ahead of the Thursday evening clash.

Palermo defeated the Bianconeri twice last season in Serie A, both at the Stadio Renzo Barbera and the Stadio Olimpico.
