Roma's Stefano Okaka Not Afraid Of Marco Borriello Competition
Stefano Okaka feels he can prove his worth and fight for a regular place, despite hefty competition.
By Salvatore Landolina
Okaka doesn't see the former Milan man as an imminent threat to a starting place, but as a long-term problem.
Nevertheless, he is confident of cutting his own shade in Claudio Ranieri's plans.
"I say that the more, the better," Okaka told Il Corriere dello Sport.
"We are challenging on three fronts and everyone will be useful to the cause. In September we will be playing three games a week.
"Ranieri makes the choices and it's the pitch that proves how much a player is worth. I am tranquil like I have always been.
"I am a player like all the rest and I will try my best for the good of the team."
