This is no time to get carried away, says the director.

Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani has refused to admit the Rossoneri will become favourites to win the Serie A title if they defeat Napoli at the San Siro this afternoon.

The second-placed Diavolo sit just two points behind leaders Inter and have a golden opportunity to overtake their city rivals at the top of the table after the reigning champions were held to a 1-1 draw by Palermo last night.

“Let’s not talk about this…” Galliani smiled on Sky Sport 24 this morning.

“Let’s leave it alone. We’ll talk about it next week.”

Milan will be back in action on Wednesday night when they pay a visit to Parma before hosting relegation-haunted Lazio next Sunday, the day after a crunch clash between their city rivals and third-placed Roma at the Olimpico.
