Inter boss Jose Mourinho has been singled out for special praise by Beneamata president Massimo Moratti during an annual meeting with the representatives of the official Inter Supporters Clubs.
The reigning Serie A champions are still in contention for a prestigious treble this term and the oil magnate says the Portuguese deserves all the credit.
“I can promise you we’ll keep doing well domestically and I hope we’ll start doing likewise on the international stage,” Moratti told his audience.
“I have a big admiration for our players and our coach because of the consistency they have shown thanks to their character and professionalism.
“I can see that in the coach and in the ‘veterans’, but also in the new recruits. And they are all managed by a man, Jose Mourinho, who stands out for his professionalism and sharpness.
“Our coach truly is a remarkable professional. The reason I admire him is his continued commitment. He really works hard. It’s amazing. He never loses sight of his objectives. What Mourinho does is very important for us to gain consistency. That’s our secret.
“He conveys determination and it has showed in our last few games. Mourinho and the team play to win at all times.”
Inter are back in action this afternoon, hosting Cagliari at San Siro in Serie A action.
