Adil Rami To Snub Liverpol And AC Milan To Stay At Lille
The up-and-coming defender is in no hurry to leave France...
Adil Rami has cooled speculation tipping him for a big money move to either Liverpool or AC Milan in the summer, insisting that he has no plans to leave Lille anytime soon.
The 23-year-old centre-back has won him many admirers, not least of whom is French national team boss Raymond Domenech, who has included him in his last couple of squads.
It is believed that a desire to not risk falling out of the France frame ahead of the World Cup, by possibly becoming a bench-warmer at a big side, is one of the main reasons Rami would shun a move to a glamour club at this point in time.
"I have only played in Ligue 1 for two years and I believe I need to play one or two more seasons in France," Rami, who is of Moroccan roots, said when pressed on his future by France Football.
"I will be delighted to achieve the same season I had last term at LOSC."
