The Turkish playmaker is pleased with how his recovery is going, but not entirely sure when he will be back in actionReal Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin insists he can offer his club plenty once he makes his return from injury which has prevented him from making his competitive debut this season.
Sahin is still trying to recover from an injury he sustained in pre-season following his summer move from Borussia Dortmund, but feels the door to football is not far away despite the setback.
"Despite being injured I feel really good and I feel I am in the right place and I can be useful here at Madrid," Sahin told Sky.
"Things are progressing and the recovery is going well."
However, the midfielder is unsure over when exactly he will be granted unfettered access to the pitch.
"I cannot say when I will be back, but it is important that I come back stronger and fitter," he said.
Madrid take on Espanyol away from home in La Liga at the weekend. Jose Mourinho's men are currently fifth in the table.
