Real Madrid have revealed that playmaker Kaka will travel to Brazil to undergo tests that will determine his recovery progress from a knee surgery.
Kaka underwent a knee operation at the start of the season and has been out of all footballing action since then. He will now undergo “functional evaluation studies like those he had three months ago” in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo.
A statement on Madrid’s official website reads:
“It will be an objective evaluation to determine the medical treatment to be followed in the final stages of recovery.
“The Sanitas-Real Madrid Medical Services, Doctors Marc Martens and Turibio Leite, and Kaka are in agreement and completely coordinated regarding the different recovery stages that must be tackled.
“The player will return to Madrid to finish his recovery process after receiving the test results.
