Ronaldo is eager to work alongside his fellow countryman...Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo has spoken of his delight at Jose Mourinho's imminent arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu from Inter Milan.
The Portuguese star, who joined the club last year from Manchester United in a world record transfer, was keen to pontificate what life will be like under the 'Special One', and he is keen to forge a winning bond.
"Mourinho's arrival would make me very happy," Ronaldo said after Portugal's 0-0 draw with the Cape Verde Islands on Monday night, as reported by Calcionews24.com.
"His arrival would make us even more competitive? Yes, because he is a winner."
Mourinho has not joined Real Madrid officially yet. He is trying to find a resolution with Inter over his contract there before he can join the Spanish giants.
Reports this morning claim Inter want want €16 million (£13.7m) to release the coach.
Late on Tuesday night, Inter chief Massimo Moratti had said he had not reached an agreement with the coach over his release.
