Valencia Coach Unai Emery Wary Of Werder Bremen's Aerial Prowess
Los Che's coach is unconcerned about his own future...
By Paul Madden
"The German team has very definite characteristics that make them very powerful, and we need to know their qualities to draw on our own. It's an open game, it'll be hotly contested and we must learn to counter their aerial power," he noted at a press conference.
"We must focus on doing our best to get Valencia to go as far as possible in this Europe League. I hope the fans get behind the team like they have done so far. We need all their help and positivity."
Emery also stressed his intention to focus on football matters and said that the club is his primary concern, not a new contract.
"We always strive to do the best job possible and concentrate on the daily work and that's what concerns us. I'm not worried about my future but the future of Valencia. We must concentrate all our energy for the club and not deviate to the figure of the coach or the future of any player. We must forget the individual situations and think of building on the team," he declared.
