Kaka Will Not Play For 90 Minutes Against Mallorca - Real Madrid Coach Manuel Pellegrini
The tactician has warned that it will take time for the mercurial Brazilian to get back to full fitness...
Mallorca have been in superlative form this season and are up in fourth place, although their real strength has been at home where they have won all eight matches. Nonetheless, Pellegrini will not underestimate Gregorio Manzano's men.
"Mallorca are going through a great moment and will be a very difficult opponent," he told Marca.
Los Blancos have been boosted by the news of Kaka's return to the squad, while Guti is also available for selection. Both players have been nursing injuries for some time, and Pellegrini will err on the side of caution as he looks to reintegrate the duo back into the fold.
"[Kaka] hasn't played for some time and he won't be there for 90 minutes. [Guti] has recovered from his injury and is in conditions to start after a long time on the sidelines."
It was widely speculated that the former Villarreal coach had a falling out with Guti during los Merengues' infamous defeat to Alcorcon in the Copa del Rey, but Pellegrini maintains that his relationship with the veteran midfielder is as good as ever.
"He's a very important player in the squad, with a technical ability that makes him different from the rest. I've never had a problem with him. As he recovers his fitness, the door is completely open [to play in the first team]."
