I Really Like Sevilla, Diego Perotti & Jesus Navas – Real Madrid’s Kaka

Barcelona may be seen as los Blancos' nearest rivals, but Sevilla are just behind, and Kaka has been impressed by them...

Kaka has revealed that he has been surprised by just how good Sevilla are as the Rojiblancos maintain their challenge at the top of the table.

Real Madrid's Brazilian playmaker moved to Spain in the summer and thought he knew about most teams in the league, but being up close has made him appreciate them even more.

Los Merengues were beaten by Sevilla earlier this season. Kaka was impressed with them, and in particular their two wingers, who caused so many problems that evening.

“I really like Sevilla. They have really surprised me. [Diego] Perotti and Jesus Navas are very good," he told Cadena Cope.

Madrid take on FC Zurich in the Champions League on Wednesday evening, but Kaka was honest as he stated that all the talk is about the trip to Barcelona on Sunday.

“We are thinking about Zurich, but everyone has told me how unique the Clasico is," he continued.

“Barcelona can play with their eyes closed. They know each other perfectly and play so well, but we are the leaders. I don’t think either side is the favourite on Sunday.

“Heading into the match as the top team is good because we can open a four-point lead by winning.”

On a personal level, the former Milan star thinks that he is beginning to find his best level after a spell adapting to a new country and new style of football.

“I am improving little by little. I prepared well and I am growing with the team. I am figuring out exactly what position and role I play in order to benefit the team," he added.
