I Could Not Say 'No' To Real Madrid - Luis Aragones
The former Spain coach says he is not expecting to be offered the job...
The 71-year-old has been mentioned in some circles as a possible replacement for under fire coach Manuel Pellegrini, but he doesn't believe he will be contacted should the job become available.
"That will not happen, but Madrid like some other teams you cannot say 'no.' If it occurs, I must think about it, but it won't happen," Aragones told Telecinco.
Aragones, who had four spells at Real's city rivals Atletico Madrid also had stints in charge of Barcelona, Valencia and Sevilla in a career that has so far spanned 35 years.
He claims he still has the appetite to continue coaching, but says the likelihood is that he will do so away from Spain. However, he denied being in contact with the Portugal national side.
"I work because I feel good physically and psychologically. It is more likely that I will do so outside of Spain. There has been nothing [from the Portuguese], despite what was said, but it would be worthwhile because it is a very good team," he commented.
