Ziganda Proud Of Xerez Despite Sevilla Loss
The newly promoted side made life tough for the visitors...
Despite seeing his side go down 2-0 against Sevilla, 'Cuco' Ziganda took plenty of positives from the match.
Goals from Negredo and Luis Fabiano sealed the deal for the visitors, but Ziganda believed the result did not tell the whole story. Speaking to Marca after the match, he said, "The game was very even."
"We competed physically in the first half, and a tremendous goal from Negredo gave them the lead. In the second half we had our chances, but we ended up conceding another goal.
"I am please with the attitude and work of my team. We cannot regret the result.
"What we must realize is that when individual players decide the game in this division, you accept it and prepare for the next game."
