Criticism Of Real Madrid Coaches Is Normal - Manuel Pellegrini
He says it has always been the same during his time in Spain...
Real Madrid coach Manuel Pellegrini has said that the criticism directed towards the coach of Los Blancos is something that has always happened and he never expected any different, but insists that he is enjoying his time at the club.
Prior to joining Madrid the Chilean spent five years in charge of Villarreal and has revealed that during that time every Madrid coach has received criticism so he doesn't feel the need to be treated differently.
"I know criticising Real's coach is normal. I have had five years in Spain and I've always seen how all those who have been here have been criticised so I do not expect different treatment," he told a press conference.
"I am really enjoying it here. I've always felt the support of my players and I really enjoy being at the best club in the world."
Pellegrini also said that he is aware that the ultimate responsibility for the club's performance rests with him but he doesn't like to attach blame to anyone when things go wrong.
"I always feel responsible for what happens with the team. The players also have accepted some blame but I'm in charge and I think we should not blame," he stated.
