Karim Benzema is ready to be unveiled as Real Madrid's latest signing, having successfully passed his medical.
According to AS, Real doctor Juan Carlos Hernandez travelled to Lyon to conduct the tests, which Benzema passed without a problem. He will undergo further tests in Madrid next week.
If, as expected, all goes to plan, Benzema will be presented as a Real Madrid player on Thursday.
After Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka and Raul Albiol, Benzema is Real Madrid's fourth signing of the summer, not including Ezequiel Garay (returned from loan) and Alvaro Negredo (buy-back deal).
