Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas is eagerly anticipating Wednesday's Copa del Rey quarter-final away against Barcelona, and has stressed that Los Blancos are determined to turn things around and progress to the next round.

Madrid were beaten 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu in the first leg, but Casillas has made it clear that they have not given up hopes of reaching the semi-finals just yet.

"We'll travel to Barcelona thinking exclusively about reaching the next round of the Copa del Rey. The players chosen by the coach will fight to the death to win the tie, regardless of who they are," Casillas was quoted as saying on the official Madrid website.

"Every player wants to participate in these great games. Real Madrid will give a good performance. We just have to showcase a winning mentality and believe we can turn the tie around despite how things were complicated for us in the first leg.

"We believe tomorrow's match will be excellent. We want fans to be proud of Real Madrid and we want them to know we'll go to Barcelona thinking we can reach the next round."

Wednesday's encounter at Camp Nou kicks off at 22.00CET.
