Monk unsure of how Swansea fans will react to Allen during Liverpool clash
The defender is hoping that the club's supporters will prioritise backing the team to a win at Anfield over letting their feelings towards their former player be known

The midfielder followed the Swans' former boss Brendan Rodgers to Anfield in a £13.5 million move during the summer and will come face-to-face with his previous team-mates for the first time in the fourth-round clash.
Monk is aware of supporters' tradition to boo former players but is hoping that they prioritise backing the team over letting their feelings towards Allen be known.
"I think, if a few want to show their views, that is up to them but the main thing I would say to the fans is: Back the team from start to finish," the club captain told Sky Sports News.
"Whatever you do before or after the game is entirely up to them but, during that 90 minutes, just focus on the boys on the field as that is all that matters.
"He is a top player. Everyone knows his quality as a player and he is a great lad too.
"He is a great lad and a great talent and he is proving it now at a very high level."
