Carlo Ancelotti Looking Forward To Meeting Sir Elton John When Chelsea Face Watford
Cup cheer for 'Carletto'...
Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that he is looking forward to meeting Sir Elton John, when his side take on Watford in the third round of the FA Cup.
The west London club will clash against the Hornets early next year in their bid to defend the trophy they won during the Guus Hiddink reign.
"I do not know Watford very well at the moment but I will have the opportunity to learn about them," the Italian is quoted by the Press Association as saying.
Ancelotti has in the past admitted to being an admirer of English music, and insists that he will look forward to meeting the ivory-tinkler who was formerly the chairman of the Championship club.
"The owner of Watford many years ago was Elton John," he said.
"Elton John is my favourite singer. The match will be an opportunity to meet Elton John."
