Nigel De Jong: Manchester City Have A 'Good Chance' Of Finishing Fourth In Premier League
Midfielder believes Champions League football next season can be a reality
By Adrian Fisk
With a mere four points separating City, Tottenham, Liverpool and Aston Villa, De Jong believes City's home form could prove decisive and called for focus during the club's Premier League run-in.
"We have a good chance, Liverpool lost [to Wigan Athletic on Monday] so it's going to be a tight race at the end," he told Sky Sports News.
"Everybody goes for fourth place of course but I think we can do it.
"We've got one game in hand [over Tottenham], we've got a couple of good
games against our opponents as well at home so you've just got to try to keep going and focus, try to get those three points in every game and we'll see where we end up."
