Arsene Wenger Confirms Cesc Fabregas & Gael Clichy In Arsenal Squad At Bolton Wanderers
Key men return for trip to face Trotters...
By Zack Wilson
Fabregas exacerbated a hamstring injury playing against Aston Villa last month, whilst Clichy has been out for the last ten weeks with a back injury.
“Cesc is back in the squad for Sunday and Gael is back as well. He will be minimum on the bench," Wenger told reporters ahead of Sunday's clash.
“With Gael we were uncertain for a while how long he would be out whereas Cesc we knew was short-term.”
However, there was no chance of Theo Walcott being ready to return this weekend.
The England winger is recovering from a rib injury and his manager expects him to be out for perhaps another fortnight.
“He is not back yet,” Wenger added.
“I believe we have to be patient for one or two more weeks, not more.”
