Manchester United Goalkeeper Edwin Van Der Sar Returns To Training After Compassionate Leave - Report
Veteran keeper back after three week absence
Edwin van der Sar has returned to training with Manchester United after taking compassionate leave.
The 39-year old's wife collapsed with a brain haemorrhage in December, and the veteran goalkeeper has been absent from training for three week.
Medical tests have shown that van der Sar's wife has suffered no permanent damage, and he has travelled to Qatar to take part in United's winter training camp, according to The Guardian.
Injury has kept Van der Sar out of the United side since the 3-0 victory over Everton on 21st November.
