Edwin van der Sar To Return To Manchester United Within 10 Days - Report
The Dutch keeper is set to return soon...
Edwin van der Sar is set to return to training at Manchester United very soon as his ill wife's condition following a brain haemorrhage continues to improve.
The Manchester Evening News reports that the 39-year-old Dutchman could be back at the club's Carrington training ground this week, and could be available for selection again within 10 days.
Van der Sar's wife Annemarie van Kesteren suffered the haemorrhage just before Christmas when the player was back in the Netherlands for treatment on a knee injury.
She has apparently suffered no long-term effects though and should make a full recovery.
Van der Sar's return could give United boss Sir Alex Ferguson a real boost after Ben Foster pulled out of Sunday's FA Cup third round defeat to Leeds United having felt unwell.
