Ji-Sung Park: My Season Is Only Just Beginning
Industrious Man Utd midfielder feels born again…
The South Korean ace was named amongst Sir Alex Ferguson's starting XI that faced Aston Villa in a 1-0 weekend upset, but is focused on the future.
He said in United Review: "It is difficult being injured because you feel you are not doing anything to help the team. When you play you feel more a part of the side.
"This time I have missed five or six weeks because of my knee injury, but the team is still competing for four trophies, which is the main thing."Now it feels like the start of the season all over again and what matters is what happens from now."
Furthermore, and contrary to popular opinion, Park does not believe that United are in a worse position following the £80million sale of former FIFA World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo.
"Ronaldo was a big part of the team. He scored a lot of goals, but we have built another team now and we have to play to our strengths.
"I know I want to help the team win as much as possible, starting with the title. It would be amazing to win four in a row, just as it would be to reach a third Champions League final.
"But the FA Cup is the one I haven't won yet, so I want that as well."
