Alex Song Signs New Contract At Arsenal
Cameroon midfielder extends Emirates stay...
Arsenal have today confirmed that midfielder Alex Song has signed a new contract at the club. Although its length has not been specified, it is described on the club's website as "long term".
The Cameroon international has established himself in a defensive midfield role in Arsene Wenger's 4-3-3 formation this season.
Also able to fill in at centre-back when required, the 22-year-old has made 96 appearances for the Gunners and won 15 caps for Cameroon.
Song joins team-mates Eduardo and Sanchez Watt in inking new deals at the Emirates in the past week.
