Arsenal: Kieran Gibbs Injury Not As Severe As First Thought
Young Gunner has not broken his foot...
Arsenal have announced that young full back Kieran Gibbs has sustained severe bruising to the bones and soft tissue of his right foot, and not at fracture as was initially feared.
Gibbs suffered the injury whilst representing the England Under-21’s during their European Under-21 Championship qualifier in Lithuania, and was substituted in the first half.
The news will come as a welcome boost for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger who already has Lukasz Fabianski, Gael Clichy and Robin van Persie as long-term absentees.
