Harry Redknapp Is The Right Man For Tottenham Hotspur - Arsenal's Arsene Wenger
Frenchman heaps praise on rival gaffer ahead of derby clash.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has stated his belief that Harry Redknapp is the ideal man to take Tottenham Hotspur forward ahead of the north London derby between the two sides later today.
Spurs make the short trip to the Emirates Stadium for the Premier League encounter this lunch time where they will be hoping to go one better than last season's breathtaking 4-4 draw.
Redknapp took over at Tottenham this time last year with the club in a state of disarray although he has revitalised the fortunes of the Lilywhites and they now lie in fourth place in the league after the opening 10 games of the season.
The Gunners sit one place above Spurs in the table and Wenger has moved to praise his opposite number, claiming that Tottenham will continue to improve with Redknapp at the helm.
"Have they [Tottenham] found the right man to lead them? Yes, I think so," the 60-year-old said, as quoted by the Press Association.
"He has shown through his experience and his intelligence that he can do it.
"Stability is an important part in success in football but it's not easy to manage because no chairman would tell you the opposite.
"Every chairman wants stability so it's not easy to manage if you look at the Premier League there are not many managers that stay there a long time so that means it's not easy to achieve."
