According to a report on Calciomercato, reigning Premier League champions Manchester United are closely monitoring the situation of Panathinaikos starlet Sotiris Ninis.
United are believed to be keen to add some depth to their midfield and manager Sir Alex Ferguson reportedly sees the young Greece international as the perfect candidate to strengthen his squad.
The 19-year-old can play as a right winger and as an attacking midfielder. Ninis has already been capped by his nation's senior side and is reportedly attracting the interest of Milan.
Ninis' current Panathinaikos deal is due to expire in the summer of 2012. However, the young midfielder has a minimum fee release clause of €10 million that will allow him to move abroad.
