TEAM NEWS: Torres starts as David Luiz moves into midfield against Monterrey

The Spaniard has found his magic touch lately with four goals in two games, while Rafa Benitez experiments with the Brazilian defender alongside John Obi Mikel in midfield
Rafael Benitez has handed in-form Fernando Torres a starting berth up front in the Fifa Club World Cup semi-finals, after the Spaniard rediscovered his goalscoring form with doubles against FC Nordsjaelland and Sunderland respectively.

The 28-year-old had looked out of sorts at Stamford Bridge following his £50 million switch from Liverpool, but following the arrival of the former Reds' boss, Torres has hit a purple patch lately and he will be confident of extending his rich vein of form.

Cesar Azpilicueta also returns to the back four for the Blues, meaning Branislav Ivanovic will partner Gary Cahill in the centre of defence and David Luiz moves into midfield alongside Jon Obi Mikel after impressing during a short stint there against the Danish side.

Oscar also returns to the side with Ramires making way, while Mikel replaces Victor Moses who drops to the bench, while Benitez has also given Brazilian youngster Lucas Piazon and George Saville a place amongst the substitutes.

Monterrey are without star striker Humberto Suazo, as the Chilean is sidelined with a torn thigh muscle.

Attacking midfielder Cesar Delgado is also in good form, however, bagging a brace against Korean side Ulsan Hyundai in the quarter-final, with 19-year-old Jesus Corona also getting on the scoresheet in that game.
