The spotlight is well and truly on the 20-year old who is nicknamed Dika. However East Bengal coach Trevor Morgan knows only too well how fame can prove to be both an asset and a liability. He was quick to shield the youngster from the glaring eyes of mediapersons who were hoping to get a few words from Ralte.
Ralte has already made his bow for the Indian senior team and is a household name in his home state of Mizoram. Such is his popularity that the state government has offered to fly him to his hometown of Lunglei, 200 kms from Aizawl, when he decides to go home. Trevor Morgan had only positive words for the youngster.

"He lends balance to the side as he's left footed. He has got a lot to learn about his job and what to do when he is out of position", Morgan told The Times Of India.
Ralte who played primarily as a winger during his two-year stint at Churchill Brothers, has been given a role behind the strikers which allows him to link well with the strikers.
Sanju Pradhan, the East Bengal skipper, echoed Trevor Morgan by saying, "He gives balance and variety to the side. He can help the team shine with his individual brilliance."
