On Friday, Inter held their last full training session before the derby d'Italia against Juventus on Saturday.
Jose Mourinho took his squad through plenty of training exercises, but Christian Chivu and Nelson Rivas were not included and did physiotherapy exercises instead.
The pair of defenders will certainly not be able to take part in the match against the Bianconeri, meaning either Nicolas Burdisso or Marco Materazzi will be featured alongside Walter Samuel in central defence.
The rest of the squad were invovled in reaction and ball posession drills led by Mourinho, as well as a shortened practice match, in order to ensure the team is ready for the huge test that awaits them.
Inter host Juventus at the San Siro at 2030 CET in a potentially decisive match in the Scudetto race. The Nerazzurri will also be without Hernan Crespo, who is recovering from a leg strain, but also could be on his way out of the club in January as he has received little playing time this season.
