The Men in Blue lost to Turkmenistan...

Ravanan and Robert made their way out of the starting line up for the game, as Nirmal Chhetri and Debabrata Roy came in. Jeje was also handed a rare start ahead of Balwant Singh, while Lalindrika Ralte replaced Joaquim Abranches.
The game started with a high pace, and the Indians looked to force the pace, as Jibon Singh unleashed a dipping shot from distance in the 17th minute, which sailed just over the bar, with keeper Berdiyev struggling.
However, despite India's pressure, Turkmenistan opened the scoring midway through the half, as Mingazov was brought down inside the box by Debabrata Roy's clumsy challenge. Mamedaly Karadanov, who had scores his team's only goal against the Koreans, stepped up, and just about managed to get the ball past Karanjit Singh in goal, who made a good effort.
Sushil Kumar and the lads tried to respond after going a goal down, and the skipper fired in a low effort from the edge of the box with half time approaching. However, Berdiyev was equal to it. Lalindrika also tried his luck from similar range, but his shot was deflected wide.
Mamedaly almost got his second goal nine minutes into the second half, but Karanjit did well to thwart the striker's looping header in acrobatic fashion.
Sushil Kumar and Lalindrika got into good positions a few more times in the half, but most of them were half chances, which didn't trouble Berdiyev enough.
Karanjit, who had a good game overall after a disappointing one two days back, kept India in the match 16 minutes before the end, as he stretched low to keep out Maksim Belyh's thumping header.
However, just three minutes later, all hopes literally vanished, as Debabrata Roy was sent off for his second bookable offence.
India are bottom of the group with no points from two games, and are now out of the AFC Challenge Cup, as both Turkmenistan and DPR Korea are on 4 points. India play Korea on 21st February for not much than pride, after two defeats in two games.
