Bangladesh are seeking a new coach ahead of the AFC Challenge Cup, after Zoran Djordjevic decided to leave the country.

Speaking to the-AFC.com, Bangladesh Football Federation President Kazi Salahuddin said, "He (Zoran) wanted a four-year contract but we can’t get such a large amount of money."

"Besides, it is also not possible to sign a new contract within a very short period and I thanked him for his service in the SAF Games."

Djordjevic had recently created history with Bangladesh, leading them to victory in the SAF Games after an 11 year gap. He was earlier with Churchill Brothers, whom he had guided to their maiden I-League title last year.
