Poll Results: Readers Sat On The Fence For Federation Cup Final

Techinically though, the readers might have gotten it right!

The Federation Cup final was a tournament to remember, with numerous upsets, and two teams not tipped by many making it to the final, East Bengal and Shillong Lajong. We asked the readers of Goal.com India to pick their winner between the two, and the results were split, perfectly.

Half the readers thought it would be East Bengal, and the other half thought it would be Shillong Lajong, and even though East Bengal won the tie on penalties, technically, the game ended in a draw after 120 minutes. The Kolkata side then won the game 3-0 on penalties, after Yakubu, Chettri, and Sanju Pradhan converted their spotkicks.
