The verdict is out. It’s the judgement day. Goal.com readers opine that Indian football is moving in the right direction...

2009 has been a good year for Indian football with the twin national teams winning the Nehru and SAFF Cups. Team India had some international exposure in Barcelona and with the U-23 team doing well, coach Bob Houghton has more options to choose from.

It’s not all good as well as some of the decisions haven’t gone well with the football fraternity especially allowing five foreign players in the I-League. The football calendar is still in doldrums as the stadiums are occupied for non-footballing reasons.

Goal.com conducted a poll starting December 14 until the present date and asked the readers whether Indian football was moving in the right direction or not.

The results are for all to see:

Is Indian Football Moving In The Right Direction?

Yes – 59.26%

Not At All – 33.33%

We Don’t Care – 7.41%
