Sir Alex Ferguson’s Red Devils are coped well in the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo as the goals haven’t dried up with Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov filling in the gap. There are doubts over the fitness of Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic which is of primary concern for United fans.
In the Community Shield game at the start of the season, the two teams finished 2-2 at the end of the regulation time and Chelsea won eventually on penalties.
A win for either team would be a morale booster and also give an edge over their opponent in terms of points.
