The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has made a formal presentation to confirm their candidacy to host the 2018 World Cup Finals jointly with

The other confirmed candidates so far for 2018 include Belgium/Holland,
FIFA will accept submissions until January 2009 and the winners will be announced in December 2010.
