Germany have been forced to name a weakened side for Saturday's third place World Cup 2010 play-off against Uruguay after a host of injuries.
Joachim Loew is without leading goalscorer Miroslav Klose with a back injury, while inspirational captain Phillip Lahm and Lukas Podolski both miss out with flu.
It sees Marcell Jansen comes in for Lahm, while Dennis Aogo replaces Podolski and Cacau will spearhead the attack in the absence of Klose.
On the plus side for Germany, Thomas Mueller returns from suspension.
For Uruguay, who lost out to Holland in the semi-fnals, striker Luis Suarez returns from suspension following his last-gasp handball against Ghana in the quarter-finals.
The full line-ups:
Muslera; Lugano, Fucile, Maxi Pereira, Martin Caceres, Godin; Arevalo Rios, Diego Perez, Cavani; Diego Forlan, Luis Suarez.
Hans-Joerg Butt; Jansen, Boateng, Friedrich, Aogo, Mertesacker; Khedira, Schweinsteiger, Oezil, Mueller; Cacau
